Electronic home security systems can comprise many electrical and /or electronic parts and accessories. Indian import tariff rates for such goods can vary from zero to 10% depending on the categories, e.g. HS heading 8531 - Electric sound or visual signalling apparatus (for examples, bells, sirens, indicator panels, burglar or fire alarms etc.) plus other duty and tax that may be required. Such rates apply to imports from the mentioned suppliers. If you need to pursue details for each and every commodities please check here from Indian Customs website and locate HS Chapters 84 and 85.
