Hi,

You should get AQSIQ licenses and do CCIC inspection when you export scrap to China, and to apply these two licenses are very complex. But there is not the end if you didn't got it. You can find a agent to help you to export your scraps. Mostly, buyer in china will solve these all problems. I would like to sent a article about how to export plastics scrap into China. Contact me at chenlucia86@gmail.com

Hope you have solved your problems in getting your plastic scraps
into China. Basically, plastic scraps are not allowed to ship into China without proper treatment, e.g. removable of dust, mud, ordour etc. That is why there are still quite a number of plants in the New Territories managing this kind of treatment before shipment. You are welcome to drop me a line for further discussion, or we could do something together in the near future.

There have been a number of companies who claim to be able to assist overseas suppliers of scrap materials to export to the mainland. We would like to advise that there are an array of requirements and conditions for such materials that are allowed to be imported to China apart from the AQSIQ certificate. Please be advised therefore to read in details the information about AQSIQ Registration of Overseas Supplier of Imported Scrap Materials provided by CCC US Office.

Hi Mahendra,

You need to know the legalities of exporting to China before proceeding.  Either you hire someone with enough knowledge to help you with the process or you exert a little extra effort to learn everything yourself.  Import and export training is made easy by My Import Label in Australia.  They can assist you with everything you need to know and the areas you are most interested in.  They can even provide you with supplier names and help you choose the right one for you along with assisting you with licenses and permits.

Hi Amelia,

Can you name some of the scrap plastic suppliers in South Africa so that we can use your forwarding service to ship to Hong Kong and China? My contact: lawrence@e-longasia.com. We are a plastic hanger manufacturer and recycler in China.

Regards,

Lawrence

I am from a Forwarding company in South Africa, and we do a lot of exports into China for Scrap Plastic, however we have noticed that this cargo takes much longer to clear and shippers always ask for 14 to 21 free days to clear cargo.

Can someone advise, as to why it takes so long to clear cargo?

Amelia Andrea
