for above enquirers: Solar panels may be classified under HS 84191990 other instantaneous or storage water heater, non-electric or HS 85414010 photosensitive semiconductor devices, including photovoltaic cells whether or not assembled in modules or made up into panels, light emitting diodes; mounted piezo-electric crystals. Indian customs duties for HS headings 8419 and 8541 are rated respectively 7.5% and zero. There may be other tax or duty that may be required by the Indian Customs.
