Environmental labels

I am a manufacturer based in Hong Kong and planned to export some products to US. Any special reauirements that I need to be aware of?

Sure. There are a lot! Products entering the US need to fulfil certain environmental requirements. As noted, such requirements include, for example, hazardous substances in electronic devices, recycling for electrical and electronic equipment, energy efficiency standards, as well as import requirements for plant and plant products.

You must comply with any compulsory labelling regulations. It is widely considered that environmental labels are increasingly recognised by US consumers and regarded as easy-to-understand and reliable information for identifying green products.
