Author Topic:   Export of small quantity orders to Asia Countries

We are considering exporting products of small order value to various near Asia Countries, such as Taiwan, S Korea, Japan etc. Currently we see a problem with the cost of export documentation which appears to be approx $200.00 per consignment. This therefore makes it impossible to export small order quantities. Are there any exemptions or reductions in documentation fees or a way to send small order quantities from China which require a smaller charge or no charge at all. Thanks

Dear Lawrence, 1.In china, for small orders, usually you can arrange exportation by sea or by Express, it is more cheaper than other ways, 2.i don't know what your products are, as per the info we got in mainland market, the exportation docs fee doesn't increase, in fact, they are reducing or keep stable, such as textile, garment, and machine. 3.To control chinese products exported more healthy, chinese gov recently issued a lot new policies, and more products are required for cargo inspection before cargo is exported. this indeed made great pressure on export cost. i think this maybe the reason why your cost increased.
